Some were I read US pilots used them in WW1 who knows but the history these watches have. Will be getting another strap for it the type with the bund style pad used in WW1 era watches.

Really cool looking dial and blued hands and the patina on the lume can't wait to get this watch. Will have to order a strap like the one I have on this other WW1 era watch I have in the collection.

The more home work I do. There is a good chance this watch was issued to US army pilots in WW1 cool story about the first US Military Pilot in the US armed forces check out the first wings with a eagle holding signal flags.

When I had my Junghans Bund serviced I also sent this one and had them replace the crystal with a period correct beveled glass crystal that broken plastic crystal that looked like some put one on a tad to big and broke it putting it on. Now it's looks better and keeping better time.
