Scubapro 500 crystal gasket

Post by rogart » Mon Aug 14, 2017 2:45 pm

Need a new gasket as the old one failed the pressure test. Watch is a scubapro 500 . Have a Submarex with the same kind of gasket that i would like to change the gasket on also. The old gasket was lite glue and popped out of the case.
Anyone now where to start looking. It's looks a little like a Seiko 6309 gasket but smaller. And is held down with a screwed retaining ring . Special shaped crystal.
Can you help me out a little?
First time here so be nice :)

Thanks will do. Fingers crossed.
Otherwise maybe the EC3160B04 will work. As the crystal is 317mm .

Jack installed all new gaskets on my Scubapro a couple years ago so I'm sure he can help you. Good luck!

Now i at least now how a gasket look. It's in fact 2 gasket. One sits in the bottom and looks about the same as the Seiko gasket. And then there is a flat gasket sitting on the top of the crystal so that it sits in the middle of the case.

Yepp. He doesn't answer my mail. Not sure why? He said he wanted the case sent to him. I said i do it myself as i have the know how to do it. I asked politely if i could buy a couple of gasket instead. Then he didn't answer. Fine with me. Would cost me to much to send to USA and back just for a gasket or two.
Figured it out anyway.
