Lazlo, my local guy. He's very busy so it took a good month. He knew the 6105 so I had full confidence.

Outstanding, Jay! I'm sure you're glad to have it back on your wrist.

Thanks guys. My first vintage Seiko. Actually I have another 70's funky Seiko which I'll get restored one of these days.

love the asym case: those markers are damn hard to relume, lots of careful scraping to get rid of the old stuff

Glad you're happy with "your guy's" work; good to have someone local, if needed.

I am thinking about servicing the 6105-8110 that's pretty much been on my wrist since I bought it in the summer of 1975. It's not completely original as I had Jack at IWW Replace the crown gasket and resume it back in 2000. I'm 68 now and plan on wearing it the rest of my life, but don't want to do anything to further damage its value, would it be ok to replace the bezel dial? Mine is a little beat up.

I contacted Spencer Klein about the watch, he's anxious to work on it, but he's 11 months out. Where is your local guy located?

Thanks,

John
