Just bought a old time alarm clock

Post by River Rat » Mon Feb 06, 2017 11:16 am

Just ordered this old 1927 BIG BEN alarm clock with Indian motor cycle logo the motor cycle moves as it ticks. We loose power for short periods during winter storms figure if I use this one when I need to go some were in the morning this one Guaranteed to work compared to the digital alarm clock that just flashes after the power comes on. Plus this ones cooler see link. He had two with Popeye the sailor man but the one with the bell on top with the moving ticking spinach can was more up my ally but was sold don't care for the one with sweet pea

Well I got it today works like a champ and the bell on it sounds like a fire bell it will get you out of bed in a hurry. Sounds as loud as the candle stick phone of the same vintage next to it when it rings.

Well worth the money you can get a fixer upper on ebay for 30-50 bucks then pay some one to get it working again for a 150-200 or pay a 100 or less depending what one you buy and get it perfect right out of the box from the guy I got mine from.
