The plastic case ring not in great shape the movement moves around a little. I did ask over at MWR forum if any one has a spare CWC chronograph movement ring for sale let me know I mite luck out. The movement marked CWC by the hammer cam jumper on the movement. Mite drop it off at the watchmaker for a service tomorrow maybe he can figure some thing for the movement ring so it don't move around.

Since CWC sells a version of this, maybe email Silvermans and ask if they can supply a new movement ring?

I think the new remake version uses the 7760 hand wind version of the 7750 so the movement ring could be different.

I didn't know. Might still be worth a try.

See how different it is. Even the pusher's are a little bigger. The ring is steel like they were on the early ones in the 1970's before they went plastic for the 1981-1982 issued ones. The movement size looks different were the older movement mite not fit in the ring of the reissued one.

Nice score! I have been browsing the CWC used watches lately and saw a chrono version. My simple G10 stays in the collection as it has great legibility and accurac. Small and thin, this model is a winner. Not sure of buying a chrono version, since a Marathon version is bugging me to buy:)

Well it has been gone for a few months for a service glad to have it back. Was cheaper than the quote I got when I dropped it off for the service by 200 bucks glad of that. Only got to wear it one day before I dropped it off for the service forgot how good this looked on the wrist.
