Tell you I don't know why they closed NRTC San DIEGO and kept great mistakes were the poor bastards freeze there asses off in the winter in boot camp and is so far from the sea were Navy not land lovers.

Since CWC sells a version of this, maybe email Silvermans and ask if they can supply a new movement ring?

I think the new remake version uses the 7760 hand wind version of the 7750 so the movement ring could be different.

See how different it is. Even the pusher's are a little bigger. The ring is steel like they were on the early ones in the 1970's before they went plastic for the 1981-1982 issued ones. The movement size looks different were the older movement mite not fit in the ring of the reissued one.

Just ordered a new Phoenix admiralty gray NATO for it. Figure since that's what they were issued with mite be the best one for it.

Nice score! I have been browsing the CWC used watches lately and saw a chrono version. My simple G10 stays in the collection as it has great legibility and accurac. Small and thin, this model is a winner. Not sure of buying a chrono version, since a Marathon version is bugging me to buy:)

Well it has been gone for a few months for a service glad to have it back. Was cheaper than the quote I got when I dropped it off for the service by 200 bucks glad of that. Only got to wear it one day before I dropped it off for the service forgot how good this looked on the wrist.
