Good to see you back the job must be giving you a long deserved brake. It has a great size and wrist presence for a watch 37mm case size the case as thick as a submariner.

Here is a thread from MWR about the history of my watch how it went through a transformation from one of it's owners
http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthre ... e-For-a-53
It was also serviced by Shane Ede in Toronto not long ago I also found out. The Second hand mite of been replacement due to damage during it's military service. On the dial you can see damage due to the crystal getting smashed so when the crystal got damaged so did the second hand and dial. Since it was RAF issued maybe a airplane crash ? Just wondering about the history of this watch is cool.

The Omega 30 took some of it looks from the Omega thin and fat arrow but from this article they sure over price a thin arrow they say is worth 5000 British pounds. In US would be worth 2500-3000 and a fat arrow 1600-2000 I would sell Hodinkee mine for 5000 British pounds.

Thought I would do a comparison shot for case size next to my snowflake length and thickness about the same.

The recall to replace the luminous material occurred around 1962.

Welcome to the Forum Zaf. I bought this watch from Zaf and he has a lot of knowledge on vintage watches.
