Vintage Lejour/rivita big arrow bezel- help needed

Post by turnera1 » Sun Apr 10, 2016 3:29 pm

Hi there . I was wondering does anyone know where I might be about to find a vintage bezel for a lejour big arrow chronograph ? I don't want to buy a vintage watch as donor as (ideally) as I guess it might be too expensive . I believe Yema, rivita and lejour watches chrono were interchangeable in 1960s . What is the best way to measure the bezel is it the outside diameter ? Or inside ? To ensure a replacement will fit ?

Cheers

What's wrong with the bezel ring you have on it now if it's the watch in the photo. If it's due to the missing lume dot in the bezel ring there some good relumers out there that can fix that and relume the sweep hand at the same time to match the vintage lume on it right now.Now if it's another watch and the bezel ring is missing you have no choice but to buy a donor no ones going to take off one from there watch and be in the same situation as you and parts are to rare to find like a needle in a haystack found that out years ago with a Doxa 300T missing the bezel a lost cause so I sold it for parts mite be what you will have to do. If you bought it this way conceder it a lesson never to buy a vintage watch missing a bezel ring.

That's a great looking watch. Sorry, but I'm absolutely no help.

Hi ... Here's the lejour , actually it's this bezel I'm looking to replace . The rivita one fits it , but the lejour one has almost a plastic feel around the edge rather than metal . So I suspect it's incorrect .

Actually I'm guessing it's fine tooth pointed edges in black pvd which I don't believe is correct
