Paul ask for a military watch group shot

Post by River Rat » Thu Oct 01, 2015 8:50 am

When I posted my Precista issued 93 dive watch Paul ask for a military group shot. Here are a few from the collection some of these I got cheap some I paid top dollar at NAWCC shows some on the bay and forum sells section and antique shows I got some from WWI up to the 1990's did not post them all. Even got a few American pocket watches made during the civil war who knows they mite of been carried by a soldier during the civil war there not in the photo. There is a British AM 6B/153 dated 1940 a pilot could of had it on his wrist in the battle of Britain I collect this stuff due to the history I ware the more modern stuff most of the WW2 stuff a little small. I think I keep the WW2 stuff due to my Dad being a Ball Turret gunner on TMB avenger torpedo aircraft in WW2 he wore a Waltham A-11 issued watch during the war.

I'm trying to see if there are any of those that Eddie Platts doesn't make a copy of...

Cool to see them all together, Mike. It's been awesome to see the slow and steady growth and focus in your collection.
