Interesting article. I wonder if "his friend in LA" who returned his Dad's Seamaster to mint condition was ABC. Also, it's funny to hear him talk about his love of watches which are 40mm or less and then wax poetic about how small and thin his IWC Portuguese is.

Well, it's a hair under 41mm, so it's not as if he's that far out of his comfort zone, now is it?

Dam this dude a flipper 15 watches in one year. Dam he has a blue vintage Tudor snowflake and his Dads Omega cool. But wear he buys wanabuyawatch kind of sells over priced watches this dude should join the watch forums and surf the sales forums for better prices instead of paying full retail.

It's actually less thick than I was expecting, and the lug to lug is fairly reasonable as well. I thought it wore larger than a Speedmaster, which he also mentioned, but probably not by much

Saw him live last year, and he was wearing a Tudor BB Red. He's been into watches forever, as you can see if you watch any of his Good Eats episodes from years ago.

How was his live show? We saw Robert Irvine live and I wasn't really impressed with it.

His live show was awesome, in a massively nerdy way.

Cool article - I had no idea he was a watch guy. I like the fact that, while I'm sure he has the money to buy some pretty expensive pieces, his taste run to the (relatively) affordable.

We saw his live show when he passed through Hartford. I wasn't blown away, but it was fun.

I follow wbaw and alton brown on Instagram and I saw their posts when he got the blue snowflake. They have a bunch of celebrity clientele.
Wannabuyawatch prices skew high but theyve got a very cool store to go and browse. I try to drop in once every few weeks to look around. I've never purchased anything from them but they have some very nice pieces under the glass every time Ive visited.

Your Instagram account seems to be a mix of donuts, coffee, and watches.
