Not really vintage as the case dial and crystal are all modern, but the watch's entire reason for being is the movement and that most certainly is vintage a 1937 Hamilton 917 Pocket-watch movement. The components are available and relatively easy to obtain. I love the look and may try another one. The movement is beautiful to look at with the machine work and finishing and no stamped parts. The watch maker that put it together called me and told me how much he loves these old movements and gave me the "they don't make them like this anymore" line. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics:

44mm very wearable, comfy also relatively thin fits easily under a shirt cuff
