Benthos 500
So, my Aquastar has been a work in progress for about 6 months now and it is just about finished. I first had ABC Watchwerks do some work on the case and bezel to take care of some battle scars. Then it was off to Jack at IWW for a movement service and dial/hand work...
I just received an email from Jack and, man, he did a great job with this one...service and hand/dial work... it's too bad the movement decided to blow up today At least it happened while at his shop and didn't happen when it was back with me! He is now going to take a look at it to see what went wrong...
Here is a before and after...

The second photo is post case refinish. When I received the watch it was refinished incorrectly with circular brushing and had dents on the sides of the case. ABC took care of the dents with microwelding and rebrushed the entire watch.

How can you bear to part with it? Especially after having it restored!
Re: Benthos 500
Why did you use ABC for one service and IWW for the other? I thought each were equally competent.
