It arrived today and looks better than I thought. The dial, hands, and case are in great shape. I've already sent it to IWW.

yeah, and ensure Jack sends you the original parts back, including the crystal, insert, etc. just in case... I am sure they will make a difference if you want to sell it at one point.

Loving the knowledge bombs getting thrown in this thread. Looks like that vintage Seiko will be getting the treatment it deserves.

I always wise these were at least 39mm in size, I just can't do 37mm.

Beautiful work done by Duncan (Cannop) & James (Hyman) on my 6105. Can't wait to get it back! I highly recommend them. You decide what you want done. I had a full service on the movement, waterproofed to original specs and vintage relumed as to inject new life to It. Here's to another 40 years

My 6105 took Jack 11 months.

His builds are actually worth it and he doesn't act like a lunatic when you ask him questions. Where some of the other Seiko guys go full bore ape-shit if you saying anything at all.

He is severely backlogged right now...

This should be shipping back to me today. Hopefully here by Wed or Thurs. About 11 months at IWW. Can't wait to see how it looks. I decided to keep the original bezel insert installed.

Now I just need a strap. Jack did replace the insert, and it looks great.

Ordered a couple of 19mm nato straps. Black and grey stripe and plain black. Hope to be wearing it next week.

I love the original lume on it. A couple of dark spots, but mostly it has aged very well.
