Didn't want to buy a watch this year any more... as you all know....
A NOS Lip Submariner with the electro-mechanical LIP movement R184. These do not come up very often... color of the dial is a very dark green.. very hard to capture but in the second picture you can see that a little bit. With its asymetrical date window it has a little bit of a Polerouter Sub. Now, some pictures...
Happy new year to everybody!

Very cool pickup. If that doesn't say "cool 70's diver" I don't know what does.
The case looks to be in amazing condition. Congrats!

Movement is lip 184 with electric balance.
Almost impossible to set but funny with the single beat escapement.
Use only 301 battery !
I have a few similar.

Here's an uncommon one i wanted to share with you.
It's a Waltham signed lip electronic issued to the canadian army. I've never seen another and have no data about which type of units it was issued to.
The Lip version is called nautic 3.

Very cool watch! Didnt't know that there are watches with Lip co-branding like it was with the Squale company.

The Canadians never had any set ways on marking there watches.I remember seeing WW2 marks on some watches that looked like a child scratched the marks on them and some later Tudor Snowfakes with no marks at all but had known history of been issued in the Canadian Navy.I see the arrow mark what other info can you tell me this was issued I all ways like to learn.Nice looking watch.

Hi River rat.
I have no more info than the marking itself. I was told that the broad arrow in a C is the way canadian army engrave their stuff, but as you say, not watches.
I got it from ebay canada at fair price from a watch collector, and i have always considered the marking as genuine, but i may be wrong.
I've never seen another and i've posted it a few times on mwr but no one could provide information on it.
