I'd also love to see a white dial version.

Do the hands and marker outlines in black, but keep the same lume on hands & markers. Make the 3-6-9-12 markers black (not lumed of course).

Keep the black bezel.

That would be smoking hot.

I don't mind Miyota at all. I'd prefer. 2824 or 2892, but not at double the price.
I dislike kickstarter and similar sites. It diminishes the brand, in my mind at least.
I'd love a DWC LE, but I wouldn't want anything on the dial.
The bracelet is not a match for the case. SAS is all about angles and hard edges. That bracelet is all soft and round.

I'm with Chris here, the hands I'm not feeling at all with this. All other points agreed on as well.

I like the no date look on this watch. And the old hands as well. Overall, a very nice design.

Any body ever read through a whole thread? A lot has changed already.

Irish made watch. Where have I been? I like it just because of that, being of Irish heritage, but I'd still wear it as a strap watch.

Since you like NATO strap watches too, have a look at his Mileata line. Very nice (equal or better than Resco IMO) with Miyota 9015 and reasonable price. I believe it says "Ireland" on the dial.

Like this a lot. Doesn't look like it has Ireland on the dial, but very cool watch. Me likey!

I'll be in for the white dial as well. Why not lume the numbers, too, since it will be a sandwich dial?

The numbers would have to be black to contrast. Black lume sucks.

I'm pretty sure this is why there was never a production white dial Sea-01.

Lume dial would be killer. Black background, all black hands (like Damasko) and no date.

Graeme and I discussed it a few times (I kept bugging him to make one). Having new, solid black hands made was cost prohibitive at the time.

Chris, maybe this thread should be locked.

Graeme opened another thread to show the revised hand set and continue discussion.

Hard to follow things with the two threads.
