The ONLY thing I would have liked to see different is a white on black date wheel.

Superb new piece sir.
I did consider that but I went for the white dial because it is easier to read and I thought it looked better because it echoed the hour markers.
I agree 100%. The date window nicely mimics the 12 o'clock marker. What's the lug to lug on this?

On edit- 51mm. Not too big.

On second thought, I agree.

Being a nato whore I will order one. Just need to go home and see what stuff I can sell off to scratch a little cash together.

Are they DLC or PVD?

Any chance of a blasted or brushed version?

Loved how the date window on the Pelagos did this. And I love it on this one too.

And the logo! Kinda batmannish but cool nonetheless.

Looks great. And at a good price.

As for the site, can you mention the (double) domed crystal in the description? Is it AR coated (inside or outside)?
Also, can you mention the type of luminous material used (presumably BG W9 or C3 Luminova)? And maybe show a lume shot?

I really like these, but fixed lug bars are a deal breaker for me.

Graeme -

Some items for clarification please;

Are they DLC or PVD? (I realize it states PVD, but it looks really well done so I want to confirm?)

Any chance of a blasted or brushed version?

The photo above shows a black border around the date window, but the website photos show what appears to be chrome - which type of border is around the window? (hoping for black)

The cover photo on website suggests orange and white dials, are these forthcoming anytime soon?

Thanks!

Tough. Very bad ass. But the lug bars are fixed? :(

I really like that you took the cost of a fancy box out of the equation. Nothing is free and I personally hate paying for fancy boxes that I have to store in a closet, that do absolutely nothing for me. That was one thing I appreciated about my original Marathon SAR.

Agree with the comments.

Good size, right price, white date wheel actually works to balance the dial.

Not sure I'd happy wearing a watch that can _only_ be worn with Natos, though I do wear them a lot. An option with hex or even one sided screw bar (like AEgir) would be awesome and provide for some flexibility.

They look bad ass!

I appreciate the function over form aspect of this watch. Fixed lugs will surely be criticized by many, but the only other fixed-lug watch currently available is the CWC, which is a little small for many of us. As previously mentioned, for use in LE/Military/sportsman like situations, this will provide a no-frills alternative.

As soon as my stuff sells I'm an owner.

That's a solid watch. OD green is fantastic in theory and it looks great.

Hi Guys,
Thank you for all your thoughts and comments.

I will try and answer all the above questions,

Cases are PVD, not DLC. The PVD is the same as we use on the SAS cases. The only difference is the Míleata cases are sandblasted prior to coating.

The logo is derived from a viking axe. We took the axe head and doubled it up to form a double-headed axe.

Crystal has AR coating on inside.

Lume is BGW9

Only PVD cases at the moment.

The hour markers and date window are plated black. They are plated over silver so it does catch a little bit of light.

There are other colour dials in the plan but I don't want to discuss too much of our future projects ;)

I understand fixed lug bars won't be for everyone, but we believe it is the right choice for a proper military watch.
