Any Dubh Linn Owners?

Post by alund » Mon Dec 09, 2013 3:34 am

Looked through most of the treads and did not find many Dubh Linn owners/Pic's. I would like to hear from anyone who owns a SAS Dubh Linn on how it holding up as well as some pic's. Thinking this may be a model I may pickup, or maybe a DOXA 5000 Shark Hunter.

Thanks for any info/Pic's
Alan

Ah, yep. I wore mine 24/7 for over a year. Had to sell down some stuff and the Dubh Linn went. But it'll be back on my wrist soon.

Ask away. I can tell you the PVD coating is THE BEST I've ever had. Other rub off, mark easily, but SAS' watch held WAY past expectations. And the bezel design is such that the most knocked portion of the watch (the bezel) hides any imperfections due to doorknobs.

Bottom line, it was my favorite watch. I can find some pics, but Day 1 looked like Day 415. It really did.

I'd personally snag an SAS over a Doxa, but that's just me. Best of luck!!

I've been looking at the SAS divers for almost a year now, and the Duhb Linn seems to be the one that talks to me. Mark any pictures you can post I would love to see them.

Thanks
Alan

Alan,

I had the Duhb Linn and it was a really nice watch, I wore it for about a year and no issues with the coating. Wearing a Classic 2 now but I do miss the DL

Here are a few shots I found in my PB account

I have a Dubh Linn and am looking for a nice leather strap for it. Here are some pics of it on the stock bracelet:

From what I've seen just about any strap looks good on the Dubh Linn. Right now I'm looking for a nice shade of grey for a strap for my Dubh Linn.

This is an old Vintager leather called Slate. Something like this would look great on the Dubh Linh. Pretend my whole watch is black, not just the bezel.

Absolutely love mine, the quality is up there with my Tag, Omega and IWC. I have never owned a watch that is MADE for strap changes- bracelet, rubber, leather - this watch rocks on ANYTHING!!
