New SAS Rubber Strap

Re: New SAS Rubber Strap
Graeme, thanks for the generous DWC discount and the even more generous mod discount (though some of these guys don't deserve it) .
I'm really excited. Looks like a perfect fit for the SAS, but beyond that, looks like it might work really well for a wide variety of watches.

Its one thing to have a nice looking strap but to cover the details for one that functions well and appears comfortable is another story. This one seems to check all the boxes. Anxious for some wrist shots.

Wow. Am impressed with your attention to details and focus on quality and function on this strap. Many others don't even put that much effort into a watch!!
Great job I'm in.

Any plans for a 22mm watch or strap in the future?Graeme wrote:Ah ha!
I was wondering why all the sudden PMs The straps actually arrived today so I thought some of you guys were hiding in the bushes or something hence the PMs
Thanks for posting this Chris.
Ok here's the deal, the price of the new strap is €50 including standard postage, normally just takes a few days. Or you want FedEx it is €25 extra. This will be the price on my site when I get it working properly again. (Some new server BS effecting log in)
The good news is there is a special DWC only price of €40 including standard postage. (Must have at least 200 posts) and you may order via PM and PayPal invoice.
More good news the price is the same for either stainless steel or PVD buckle.
And even more good news for the DWC MOD team is they get a free one each. Master Wu and the guys here who look after us and keep us in our place deserve a small treat now and then, so if any of you guys want one let me know.
If any of you have seen Chris lately at any GTG and seen the straps you will see there were two versions. I had originally made it with cut outs on the underneath side to help with flexibility etc but they did not turn out the way I had planned so instead of producing them I remade the moulds from scratch and removed the cutouts and gave it small ribs instead, I also rounded the edges more and made it slightly thinner under the wrist. The keepers were also slightly too thick so they were remade too. So it turned out to be double the cost to manufacture but I think it was well worth it. I haven't taken mine off yet, it is the most comfortable rubber strap I have worn to date.
So if you would like one simply send me a PM and include your name and delivery address and your PayPal email and I will send you a PayPal invoice and get them out to you all as soon as I possible.
Regards
Graeme

Hey Graeme. Brad doesn't have any 24mm watches, so you don't need to send him one.

I just told him that too! but this is a nice impetus to remedy that problem, right?

Re: New SAS Rubber Strap
I'm wearing a 24mm ISO on most of my 22mm watches. The 'squeeze' is negligible and results in a little bit wider strap. I suspect this one would work just as well (?).toxicavenger wrote:Sweet! A 22mm would rock if they come avaliable.

Re: New SAS Rubber Strap
I am not sure Paul. It is significantly thicker than the Iso at the lug end so it might not compress as easily.deepcdvr wrote:I'm wearing a 24mm ISO on most of my 22mm watches.
