News from Basel
Had a good day at Basel World today, and I got our new movement. It's an ETA 6498 decorated by Soprod. I'll have more to show over the next few days.

Re: News from Basel
So Soprod took ETA movements and just decorated them, or is it a Soprod movement?
In any case, congrats and I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Here is a pic of the new case and the First Edition dial. I will take better ones when I get home and assemble everything.

Re: News from Basel
This is a CAD image of what it will look like.
I am going to change the crown, it will be bigger to make it easier to wind and a bit nicer too. So please ignore this one.

It will be lighter and not as high as the Sea-01 so will sit lower and fit under shirt cuffs

Re: News from Basel
I am hoping to have them ready around June, I will update this as it changes
I'm also only going making 100 of these First Editions. The dial and hand design will then change.

Re: News from Basel
Very nice - really like the dial.
But of course you might have just cost yourself one Classic II sale with that post!

Re: News from Basel
Wowzers. I wanted to keep the SEA-01 LE, but it was a bit too big for me. This one downsized in thickness is really appealing.Graeme wrote:It will be lighter and not as high as the Sea-01 so will sit lower and fit under shirt cuffs
