I have been wearing the Sea-01 on Gnomon Zulu Extremes for the past few days. They won't replace the SAS rubber or my favorite leather straps but they are a great alternative for the Summer. I may pick up an orange one to brighten things up, but the OD and dark grey cover me for all I really need. I like the Zulu Extremes because the extra strap section that goes under the case is really long so the watch doesn't bunch up on the wrist with a big pile of hardware on both sides.

Im a strap whore as well and these just scream for custom straps. I own I think the same french canvas strap thats shown bought mine of cpd which is another extreme strap whore. The best part about that french canvas is how chunky thick it is and it has the perfect semi faded green color I have ever seen personally. Im thinking this watch would look tits on a peter gunny 74 or a rob montana strap. I now NEED one of these SAS watches damnnnn IT

This strap was made for me by Drew out of a 19 year old horse hide gun belt. I love the true vintage look and feel of the leather.

What buckle on this? I have a Classic on the way, and love this setup. Is it this strap (Pic from GSD):

That is the exact strap. I would ask Greg for one of his brushed stainless buckles instead of PVD for that watch.

It really is perfect on a strap. I haven't even taken my bracelet out of the box. I think people who wanted something a little slimmer than the Sea-01 are going to love the Air when it is released.

Thanks - just wish the tail end was about 10mm longer. It's like 125/80 but I got it free with the 233 so who's complaining???
