1 Paypal Trans, 2 Days & 3 Countries I have an SAS- Pictures

Post by Fitz » Fri Aug 17, 2012 10:22 am

I received my SAS Limted Edition on Wednesday and was finally able to take some pictures. But a few notes first. This watch is awesome, both in looks and function. I was initially concerned about the size of the watch when I ordered it but this angst was quickly relieved when I opened up the box. Yes, the watch is large at 45mm but it does not feel all that large. I regularly wear between 42mm -38mm and this felt like it was right in that wheelhouse. The watch's thickness is where the heft comes in, again it is visually large but is not unmanageable. The dial is gorgeous with the special hands from the Dubh Linn completing the look. Bezel is stout and will be easy to turn when diving, especially with gloves. I had a little trouble with the rubber strap being stiff, but after a quick boil its like butter. The bracelet is a work of art in itself and the heft of the solid end links made my jaw drop. Overall I could not be happier, this is the best purchase I have made in awhile. However I'm now on Double Secret Watch Probation, but its well worth it. Thanks again to Graeme for making such a great watch.

Congratulations. It really is a fantastic watch. I get as much enjoyment out of mine as I do on watches I spent much more money on. With the exchange rate where it is now these are a screaming bargain in the US.

Big congrats to your new SAS !

It is really a great watch. Big and chunky. Love that sandwich dial and hand set.

Of course, I love to wear mine !
