A real man`s bag - More drunken purchases...

Post by Rambam » Sun Jan 30, 2011 6:43 am

So I`ve been eyeing the bags and other goods over at saddlebackleather.com for quite a while. I just love an overenginered product and these bags are just that. Built to last and looking good doing it :fro:
Only thing is that these dont come for free, but after a few rusty nails yesterday I convinced myself that the Indiana Jones type of lifestyle that I lead (well at least in my head...) needs a sturdy built to last bag
Shipping alone will set you back a very nice Seiko monster badass dive watch, at least if you live beyond the boarders of the U.S :tap:
I`m all giddy inside and cant wait to get it, gonna make one helluva camerabag :geek:
This will hopefully find it`s way to the Northern hemisphere in a couple of weeks or so

Sweet Kenneth. Love that site also. 100 year warranty is awesome

Shipping is ridiculous. Aren't we at the stage where you buy it-send it to me-and I send it to you via usps for a lot less $$$$$

Rambam... I have prompted Sean (Cowbiker) to review your post..... He is the Zen Master of this type of bag.
When you hear how he treated and prepared his you will see what I mean.

What if it is being carried by a "Tool". Does that count? I think you may be safe Kenneth.

Saddleback is by all accounts an awesome company. Waiting for my current wallet to fall apart so that I can upgrade to a Saddleback wallet. I don't care what these savages here say, that bag is sweet Kenneth!

Man, I love that site. You are right, they aren't cheap but a bag like that will last a lifetime. I can just picture you with a bullwhip and a fedora. Indiana Ramjones.

That's just wrong. Brief-cases / grips are okay, but a man-purse is wrong.

Those are some amazing cases, satchels, grips and bags. Looks like I know where I'm getting my stuff from now on.

Filson rocks. I have a ton of shit from them. Lifetime purchases. I bought a bullhide weekend bag from Orvis about 5 years ago. Good size for 3 days and can be carried on a plane.
