Another new wallet

Post by sierra11b » Thu Apr 18, 2019 4:39 pm

Figure I'd get another from Jason while @ Monk Made the getting was good. Went a little quirkier with the colors but it turned-out great! Almost a classy Joker wallet.

Another of his original Archbishop design but in green, brown, and burgundy Italian buttero. Lower cost than the first Cordovan Exterior Monk Made w/ buttero interior because this one is all buttero.

Fantastic quality and dealing with Jason was a pleasure as usual. His latest inventory of buttero had changed slightly on color so he emailed me with his discerning eye regarding the hues, but my layman eyes saw no difference and I'm happy with the results. Turn-around time is about a month or so.

The first wallet is barely broken-in but I switched over to get this one started. Needless to say, I shouldn't need a new wallet in decades...

A card or two, license etc is really all you need most days.

License, couple of credit cards, couple of insurance cards for me and child, couple of bills. If it fits six cards and holds bills it works, and that's a mid to large size front pocket wallet. If you skip insurance cards and carry one credit card then you can go really minimal.

I love this style of wallet, do you know of a high quality, super durable brand/maker?

I usually carry two, one in this style and one mightywallet (those super thin ones made with reused fedex envelopes).
The mightywallet is only for receipts and paper currency (mostly receipts as I travel quite a bit for work).

Brown/tan is out of stock. Love how yours has aged.

That’s the Card Pocket. I really like it and have my email in for when the tan is available.
