But I wanted something higher quality than RM Williams, made in the USA, and more refined than my Saddleback bifold. The Saddleback is stuffed in a drawer after 3 months of use -- Great wallet but I got the RL Williams at the same time. Might list it.
Contacted Jason of Monk Made and he made this Bourbon Shell with Whisky Walpier Buttero at request in his Japanese-inspired Archbishop design which works around my George Costanza needs of receipt expenditures with the single stitched hidden compartments.
Took about 4 weeks to arrive and the correspondence was great. Wasn't cheap... three bills to be exact but I think you'd loose $50-80 if all Walpier Buttero, which is a fantastic veg tanned leather available in tons of colors unlike a chrome tanned leather.
Amazing quality that will likely need at least a year before the break-in period even begins. Always takes a bit of time getting used to a new wallet after years of using another design, but this one should last well over a decade me thinks.
