I don’t even know how the heat works in my house.

No, I literally don't know how to turn it on. I've never needed to.

Did I just click on the Pioneer days thread?

Excuse me while I turn both my furnaces up. I feel a draft. Image

When my children were younger, visiting Grandma; she asked them if she should turn up the heat.

They said, “What’s heat”.

Central A/C we have, but they really don't put in heating systems in this country. Don't need it, never gets that cool. Ever.

Not cold enough for full sized firewood.

Pretty much just using kindling to take the chill off when needed.

However, I split some wood and stacked it behind the stove.

I'm going to make my own kiln-dried firewood.
