Hi,

Was just in Montreal and looked at the originals and Super 550's, anyone have a pair? If so, thoughts?

Thanks
Mike

I have owned 3 pair. My first pair lasted for about 5 years if i recall. The 2 and 3rd I got from zappos. They last around 90 days until the seams started to come apart. They moved manufacturing overseas and out of Australia and the quality dropped. The leather even felt different, kind of like a pleather.

So I changed to Rossi boots when I was in Iraqi and I will stick to them. They are still made in Australia. They are real leather and they do stretch when you first get them. So go half a size or one size down.

They definitely run large.

Decided on Redback's which are still made in Australia---on Zappos a lot comments about Blundstones not fitting right and lack of quality...Aussie/UK sizing, the half size just means wider...

Redback and Rossi are one of the few still left in aussie land it seems.

+1 for Rossi.
Blundstones don't seem to be as good as they were.
