Wake Boarding In Kauai

Post by mattcantwin » Mon Aug 20, 2018 3:40 pm

My younger daughter and family live in Kauai.

Yesterday, she sent a video of her 9 year old son wake boarding, the clip was well over a minute of continuous riding.

It looked pretty cool.

Today, she sent a couple of pictures.

Life in Kauai is something else.

Disappointed. I thought this was going to be Matt wakeboarding.

Aw man! Awesome. We’ve been on Kauai for a bit and have about a week left before we head back. Your daughter lives in a beautiful place.

I guess you could wear the beads I have as a necklace, but they’re plastic.

Matt that looks like fun. Chris aka Greenlighting tried to teach me this in Waco. Instead all he did was drag a fat dude around the lake.

Love that we've seen him growing up. I remember the pics of him as a little guy as well as your post when they moved back!

That is very cool, I wish I had opportunities like that when I was that age.

Very cool! We love visiting Kauai.

We visit HI every February as long as my buddy is stationed at Hickam. Orders come out in March, so as long he isn't given a command someplace, we schedule the next year's visit. HI is just a beautiful part of the world and Kauai is one of my favorite islands.

As an aside, for those visiting Kauai, a nice casual breakfast / lunch place is Kalaheo Cafe on the Kaumualii Highway. I recommend the "longboard" sandwich.
