What Is It?

Found this in a drawer.
Barrel screws off and insert reverses.
Obviously, it's an easily portable pointy thing.
Anyone have a better handle on what it is than that?

That's an engineer's shiv, also known as a quad-P (pocket pencil protector poker).
Don't take it on the airplane unless you want a little rough handling from mean airline employees.

The real mystery is: how do you have a pen-size knife sharpener in a drawer and not know about it? It isn't exactly the kind of item that one "impulse buys" then forgets about so completely as to post about its purpose on a watch forum...

WTF are you gardening?! That knife looks deadly. If my wife said she needed that for gardening, I think I might fear for my life!
