The cold -20, long winter, short daylight, is what keeps us a small population, keeping most people away from the Alaska paradise.

We don't have to deal with the crazy people/politicians up here like the lower 48.

I don't think so, Washington politicians are . That's why I choose to be where I am, I'm left alone, void of all political persuasions, rhetoric, brainwashing. I have a idyllic life, I don't care what happens past my driveway.

Down in the lower 48, I had made a lot of money and I was miserable.
Up here in Alaska I don't make that much money and I am happy.
