True, just check them. Only certain models are US made.
Yep, that's what I found disappointing. I wish they were all still made in the US. If these Timberlands don't hold up like I hope I'll be going that way. My Thorogoods were US made, but soles wore down quickly and they didn't have steel toes which is necessary for my job site.

Years ago they started taking more of their options overseas. Which annoyed me because the reason why I wore them in the 90's was because they were US made.
Right now I just wear Chippewa's or my Rossi boots.

I've been looking at what the kids on campus wear. The butta's are definitely cool with the frat/sorority kids.

I've got a pair thrown by the front door and another by the side porch. I think there are two pair of dress shoes in their boxes under the bed but truthfully I haven't looked in several years. Come to the dark side where we enjoy the sea breeze and live in perpetual casual.

Style wise they are a bit more aggressive but the soles on the Carolinas they had were way too soft and I'd end up wearing them down faster like my Thorogoods. The Timberland Pro sole is TPU.
Heath let me know how those work out. They look comfy as hell.

Even with steel toes they're barely heavier than my last work boots. I haven't been to work yet with them, but I've found them comfortable enough that I've been wearing them around when going out.
