Who resoles them? Do you send them to Danner or take them to a local shoemaker/cobbler?

I used a local cobbler when I got my Danners re-crafted. He did an awesome job and I got to slightly adjust the Vibram soles to be a bit more 'ice-friendly' for the great White North.

Danner also offer a re-crafting service, although I have no experience with it.

Sweetness, mate. And how do you like them so far? Been wearing mine on weekends ever since I got them, just before US Thanksgiving; stellar boots.

James

Both. I use a local guy. $50.
PS: Have a sparkling day.

Best place to shop for Danner winter boots?

Amazon. Use that camel site to alert you when the price drops to where you want it, because it seems the third party prices fluctuate constantly (could have bought mine for $22 less than I did if I had waited one day).

I love Danner boots. I love the build quality and attention to detail. They don't seem as rough and tough like Red Wings but in my opinion, they are different type of boots. Danner is refined whereas Red Wing is straight brutal.

Either way, I love my Danners:
