Great headlamp for the price!

Post by toxicavenger » Fri Nov 20, 2015 4:11 pm

I was looking for a new headlamp since my last Petzel shit the bed and their prices have gotten stupid. So I did some looking around and read some reviews and I found Coast makes a great one for the bread. Here is the one I bought.

It rocks for the cash.

Her Terry, which Petzl did you have and how does it compare? I have a Myo rxp (my second after the first one just died) and whilst it's good, they are too expensive, but have never tried other brands. I just clicked on the link and it looks okay for the price except for the batter life.
Regards

Steve

I use a black diamond that has the red light also. I use it every night in my patients rooms. It's an awesome headlamp.

Honestly Steve I can't remember what model it was since it was a older version. Coast makes better models than the one i have but I didn't want to pay over $20 for one since all I use mine for is around the house and working on cars. Here is some good reviews of some lights http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Best-Headlamp . What I have noticed is most of the reviews are biased and only review certain name brands. Coast has been making great lights for a while but super cheap.
