Update (not that anyone really cared)

Post by mattcantwin » Wed Oct 21, 2015 6:36 am

I posted a while back about an interesting way to hold paint up on an extension ladder that essentially ran
a dowel through the inside of the rung. I was painting the house and wanted to try it out.

Unfortunately, my extension ladder isn't a real extension ladder; it is a Werner Little Giant "homage"...

and there are no slots for the rungs at the top of the ladder.

Ended up using my good old, not the best idea, paint can on the top rung method.

I use the good old "break out the check book and hire someone" method.

I used to do a ton of work on my house myself, but with two little kids, plus traveling for work, there just isn't enough time.

Good job on the painting. Careful around those wires!

All done there, always a bit leery working around the service to the house.

matt I do that the same way. when I get down to the lower rungs I use a metal coat hanger as a hook to hang it from the rungs

Matt - the giant twist tie downs work great for securing the cans too
