I think that one would be too big for what I am looking for.

Loving all the suggestions so far, I am having a close look at all of them.
The process is helping me work out what I really need/want.

Pelican ProGear Sport Wallet
Pelican makes the original bombproof, waterproof camera & equipment cases used by photogs, filmers, & media pros. Now they’re making a slim sports wallet with the same crushproof characteristics. If you happen to go overboard on your next outing, your cash and cards will be safe.

This might hurt your butt, but it's pretty cool.

Ha yea I saw that Pelican one. I have come across some crazy 'wallets' in my search, like wood panel, titanium/stainless steel/aluminium (even some mesh!)

I actually had one of those years ago. One day I woke up and all my stuff was in a brand new Prada black leather wallet. I never saw the BMF again.
The same thing happened with my old Beaver Liquors t-shirt. Dammit, man.

I've been carrying a Secrid wallet recently, want to order a Greg Stevens Slim Wallet as well though.

small update:
I have managed to check out in person some wallets by Coach, Tumi, and a raft of other brands. I have also found a local Bellroy stockist, so I will check that out when I get a chance.
I have probably changed my ideas of what I want quite a lot by just checking out heaps of different ones- No decision yet though

I checked a brand today called Il Bisonte that were really nice. They were vegetable tanned leather that will darken with age and handling.
This trifold was a potential winner, but I will wait until I can look at the Bellroys...

I would be highly skeptical of the elastic closure on that one.

My wallet was starting to get a bit mangy, so this combo in unlined Horween leather is on its way; one card slot and one cash sleeve. I'll let you guys know how it works out. I reckon less is more when it comes to wallets.

yea the elastic would not last the long haul, but can be removed or tucked away, as it is not essential to keeping it closed (according to the manufacturer).

Also found a local Makr stockist, so checking them out tomorrow.

So I made a decision and grabbed the Il Bisonte 6CC Billfold from local retailer Hunt Leather:
http://www.huntleather.com.au/il-bisont ... lfold.html

Pretty standard style, medium sized, fairly slim.
The leather is beautiful and buttery soft, and there is no synthetic lining, just raw leather. The light colour will darken and burnish with age, handling and exposure to sunlight.

And here is a stolen pic of what happens over time:

Thanks to everyone that made some suggestions - there was quite a few that I could have happily chosen.

Cheers

I'm currently using my BMF wallet.

I need a new grown up one. But i never find one I like. I need a wallet with quality leather that will patina well over time. But I also need a zipper to hold a challenge coin. Finding those two together with a style, size, and A good slot amount is almost impossible. So for now I'm just sticking with the BMF.
