Pensacola Beach

Here's a shot of lovely Pensacola Beach this morning. Whitest sand in the world as it's all crushed quartz. Image

Nice! I spent a lot of time in the Panama City, Destin and Pensacola area over the years. LOVE the redneck riviera

My family used to camp on a little campground right on the beach in Destin back in the late 80's and early 90's. Loved that pure white sand and emerald water. Nothing else quite like it. I think the campground was hit by a storm and there are large condos there now.

Awesome pic of nirvana ... at least from my perspective up north here.

-38 celsius with wind chill today, which equates to -36.4 fahrenheit for you heathen down south.

Good thing I have good clothes and boots ...

Love that area of Florida. Spent a bit of time there. Nice and relaxed. Here's my beach now...

Saw the Blue Angels practicing over Pensacola Bay earlier in the week. What a job! Here's a FA/18 Hornet now go and do some kickass stunts all over the world with 5 of your buddies...

There's still an awesome campground in Destin. Not sure if it's the same one but it's one of the best I've ever seen anywhere.
