I'm a fan of AE so I was looking for a pair of rubber sole'd boots to wear to my business casual office on rainy/snowy days. My other office shoes are all leather soled dress shoes. Chukkamonks from Allen Edmonds Rough Collection just went on sale for $195. They use a waxy distressed leather and are not lined so they are über comfy out of the box. Here after I applied mink oil.

Those are great. I nearly bought them during the clearance sale but they just don't work with my wardrobe. That is definitely a great business casual boot.

Prada motorcycle boots. About 15 years old. Held up amazing and bad ass. Busted them out for celebration of new job with my wife tonight.

Thanks for letting me play! "

Have a fair bit of Frye leather for casual wear, James lace up boots and james oxfords. The boots I removed the distress from, polished up and had B Nelson in NY resole w/ Oak Bark soles, they're worthy now other than my feet have gained a half size with the hundreds of miles of running doing these days.
Image the brown started life as the olive looking tan color, when I cleaned them up it didn't come out right so dyed them brown with some feibings, FYI.
Have a pair of Paraboot Super Rando's coming, while hardly casual wear, stoked about them, even if it took outgrowing my others to get me to pony up. Soodi at Pelle Line shoes in New Jersey is the way to get them here in the US.

If you're into Galiber Super Guides or the Super Rando's and check out Limmers.

My boots made their first appearance of the season today. I still have a few more weeks of flip flop weather though.

My go to all-weather, all-terrain boots. I've worn them on hunts everywhere from Colorado to Ireland to Africa.

Okay, after giving up on finding UK caliber cognac debry boots/borgues to burnish toe, decided the next best alternative was to go the custom route with the Whites Semi-Dress to make them as 'dress' as possible, in british tan. Will do my usual leather voodoo and shine to them once broken in, but specs were single leather soles, antiqued eyes and hooks, no liner, no loops, no toe cap, black edged close trimmed single leather sole and 1/4 shorter heal (I'm over 6 foot as is). Kyle at Baker worked to get sizing figured out and got them to me surprisingly fast for a custom order. Stay tuned for the cowbiker leather treatment and maybe even my first attempt at burnishing, unsure how it'd look on the darker color.

Those look great, very similar to my cigar Beckmans. I like the heel you chose. I can't deal with the silly heel White's usually have.

I bought these last year after hearing friends rave about them. I was very anti slip-on style. Figuring that they would slip off the foot and not be comfortable. They are by far the most comfortable hunting boots I've worn. I also get cold feet all the time despite how many pairs of socks (or how few) I wore and my feet are always constable in them. No break in as well. They feel the same today as when I got them.

thin application buffed with microfiber once dry hasn't caused me a problem yet, other such products have, this one's best I've used so far.

Almost pulled the trigger on some Redwing Iron Rangers in Amber harness leather tonight. They were lighter then I had seen in pics and didn't have any of that cherry look I was wanting. Almost sucked it up and bit the bullet when the sales guy said they were releasing Oxblood this year. Showed me catalog and everything they just received with them in it. I told him thanks so much for the info and I'll wait for them to come out since that's what I really wanted. He just looked at me like he was thinking he just screwed his sale. LOL. Until then I'll just keep rockin my AE Daltons and Longbranches.

DAVIDSWdan - - thumbs up for Redwing.

Funny that I could drop $300 on boots and my wife wouldn't spend much time on it, but $300 on a watch (yeah, $300!) and she's beside herself.
