Just saw this one on fleabay another fake the lume hour markers got the stubbies mark going past it like it says a fake has on scubawatch web site the date window is wrong any thing else's? Here's the link.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/70sOmega-Seamas ... 41617ca941
And here is Scubawatch hall of shame were this one should be added.

Does this have the omega seamaster 120 case ? the case back and the shape of the case are way different than a Omega 300 case.

Listing removed...
would've been beneficial to capture the pics for comparison to provide an educational experience.

Cesar since you saw it here is a link for a Omega 120m with proper blue dial with the same case as the fake.
http://www.artoftime.ch/catalog/item/10 ... 581928.htm
That was not even the right dial for the 120.I also posted this over at MWR I guess I shamed watchnav on fleabay so bad he removed it :roll:His prices are so over priced and now he is selling fakes he had been in the business for a some time he knew what he was selling.

Cesar I all most bought a real vintage Omega 120 at a auction but got out bid.I like them better than the vintage Omega 300 because they look a little different and not everybody has one.I like the dial the case a little better and some times you can get a better price than the 300.

Did it have the looped 6/9 and the pointed "A" that the typical fakes have?

It had every thing scubawatch described but a slight blue color in the dial and wrong case back that goes on the Omega 120 mm I guess the case was a 120 case the case mite of been really a Omega case it was a miss match of parts with a fake dial.If that helps

Mike had an idea to add a forum where we can alert each other on instances such as the one above. I have created the new forum and moved this post there.

A shadow topic has been left in the main forum to point everyone in the right direction. :salute:
