FNG (Fake Omega Content)
I just signed up tonight and thought I should say hello. I've been around the various fora about seven or eight years now, and have been collecting for ten or so. I can still remember when I thought I was the only one with such a crazy obsession. I eventually discovered how wrong I was. I believe I'll fit in here fairly well, about three quarters of my collection are dive watches. Below are a few pics. Hope everyone was blessed with a great Thanksgiving.
This ain't all of 'em, but it's a good representation of the ones I've got pics of. I have a few lower end pieces that haven't been photographed yet. The new camera just got here Wednesday. I get to have some fun this weekend.

Re: FNG
Welcome to the 'madhouse' Michael,I'm sure you will fit in here just fine.
You have at least two of the requisites for membership here, firstly your name is Mike and secondly you have a watch......some great watches infact
A sense of humour and a thick skin is also useful here as you have probably noticed

PO has happy feet-and the bezel pip looks wrong too.

Re: FNG
As far as I know everything is okay with the PO. It was a gift, and it came with all the right boxes and papers. I never wear it. I'm not a PO fan. The only use it gets is from my son. I'm a Breitling type of guy, with Oris a close second, and there might be Graham and a Ball somewhere not too far down the road. I've just started moving into the higher end stuff so I'm still learning. The PO has been around for a few years years now, and this is the first time there have been questions about it. It would suck if it's not the real thing. I have insurance on the damned thing, which could cause problems. I guess I have some serious research in my very near future. I am now officially bummed.

Re: FNG
Well its better to know then not know but it's 100% a fake and not a very good one.
There are some excellent fakes out there using OEM parts that would be extremely hard to tell except in person. This is not one of them.

Re: FNG
Take it to an Omega AD Mike and have them verify one way or another. They may confiscate however if not real deal.

Easier than that .... wear it swimming for about an hour. Take it down to the deep end and thrash around. It'll probably flood.

Re: FNG
Sorry about the PO, but welcome to the forum. The question is who bought you a fake as a gift?
