Trouble staying logged in?

I don't know about cookies, but "remember me" doesn't do anything.

Checking the 'Remember Me' box sets a long-lasting session cookie in the browser that will allow you to stay logged in across visits. If you have cookies disabled then the browser won't save that cookie and you'll be forced to log in frequently.

The 'Remember Me' feature works on every browser I've used to visit DWC.

I'm talking, specificallys about this issue. It works on my Mac just fine.

I use Safari. Pretty much have to login every time I visit. Hell I have stopped posting bc if it.
Ironically when I went to post this it made me log in although I had already. So... yes.

I never use Safari but I just tried it and didn't have any issue staying logged in. Two things to look at:

1) Are you checking the 'Remember Me' checkbox on the DWC login screen?

2) Is your browser configured to allow site cookies to be set? Go to Safari's Preferences > Privacy panel and make sure you have 'Allow from websites I visit' selected in the 'Cookies and website data' section.

I made a change to the forum's configuration that may help the issue of frequent logouts that some of you have been experiencing. Let me know if you notice any improvement.

I only get logged out while browsing for new discs for donkey disc golf. I’ll try using Mac now

Your internet provider could be the cause. If your provider is dynamically reassigning IP addresses from a pool, you may find that your IP is changing often. When that happens, a security feature of the forum may sign you out when it detects an IP change. That feature of the forum could be disabled but I'd prefer not to do that if we can avoid it.

That might be the reason. I'm on a university network. I'm not sure IP addresses are allocated.

Past 24 hrs have been the first time I have not had to log in multiple times. Something changed. Thanks

I haven't been logged out in a while. That is until I clear my cache on my pic.
