XS. The XR has a lower resolution screen and is in between the two XS models in size and isn’t an OLED.

If you don’t need a big phone. Grab the XS. 5.8 inch screen. New iPhones coming in September/October as well, but they will pretty much be the same with a new camera. No big changes till next year.

I’ll wait and see what the new one has to offer. Not in a huge hurry. Hoping to see that notch go away.

How’s everyone like their XS? I bought the 8 Plus as a replacement for both my last iPhone and iPad. Bought another iPad Pro awhile back so a huge phone isn’t such a priority and this phone barely fits my pocket in a slim case. If I remember properly the Max is the same footprint as the 8 Plus with the XS being decently smaller and I’ve made peace with the fact that I’m now relegated to using cases.
Xs Max in a basic Otterbox Symmetry Series clear case fits fine in a back pocket. At first, the phone seemed comically large. Now that I'm used to it, other phones seem comically small.
It's been dropped a few times onto hard surfaces, and it's still 100%. I used to be anti-case, then I replaced my first screen.

Yeah I only carry my phone in my front pocket. Not a fan of the back pocket carry.
