iPhone X and newer screens do scratch waaaaay easier than previous gens.

and the glass screen protectors are worlds apart from the old plastic ones.

I use a case to give my phone extra thickness and grip not just to protect it. iPhones are too slippery for my hands

I don’t use a screen protector, but my favorite case by far is the Veil XT from Caudabe. I only use it for the extra grip, as the X/XS is a bit more slick in my hand.

I’ve never used any sort of case for shock resistance, and have never cracked a phone or screen.

The nice thing about that sofa is that you can go straight from the Twister board to the sofa, without worry about the Crisco staining the fabric.
