It’s not a phone though. You need to sync with your existing phone and it costs $350 and $10 a month.

So, now that smart phones have gotten to nearly tablet sized devices, I guess the idea is you can leave the big phone in your bag and just have this thing readily accessible in your pocket.
I guess I won't say "never", but personally I struggle with ever seeing the need for one of these things in my life. I don't like "super sized" smart phones to begin with, and my phone syncs with my car and Bluetooth headset for any time I don't want to be holding my phone to my head.
I guess the most shocking thing in the entire video is that Palm is even still around.
I remember having one of these:

Reminds me of a guy I saw at Starbucks once using his MacBook, iPhone, and iPad all interchangeably.
