Sony Bravia 900e 65" TV

Post by ericf4 » Sun Nov 19, 2017 5:20 am

Finally put a new television down in the basement that we recently constructed. I thought for sure I was going to go with one of the new Samsung premium 4K UHD models until I found this Sony 4K UHD TV. I guess I didn't think to look at Sony but I forgot how amazing their products really are the picture is just outrageous with some of the deepest blacks I've ever seen on a TV. It's got the Android TV operating system in at which is interesting as I don't think too many Smart TVs have that yet. It reminds me of the first time I ever saw high-definition years ago it really is that much better looking at a 4K UHD HDR TV picture. I also hooked up the Xbox One on it for my son and it's pretty phenomenal looking at video games on that display it just gives a whole new life to the games.

Now my next job is I'm looking for a good condition Kiss Pinball Machine to put down there although they're not easy to find and when you do find them in good shape they aren't cheap. Anyway if any of you guys are looking for a really killer TV I highly recommend looking at the Sony XBR 900 E series UHD, 4K, HDR of Bravia televisions they are absolutely incredible. I got mine on sale at Best Buy for 1499 I think they're usually 1999.

When I reread this it makes me laugh how bad voice dictation still is on a phone. The convenience factor outweighs the fact that it looks like I'm a moron typing with poor grammar.

I remember when we bought our 55" it seemed huge. Now about 10 years later it seems small. The 70 incher at work is huge.

Just picked up the 70” Sony Bravia 4K HDR Uktra for downstairs. It was on sale for $1299 and I had a “free” $1000 credit at Best Buy so it was out the door for an additional $300. Love it, especially with the daughters’ Mario Kart 8.

For an unexpected gift card for Christmas, from outside of family. So it was basically a free grand to Best Buy.

Yeah, total surprise and unexpected. Wife wasn’t surprised at all when I hopped in the car and got it. I was going to get the 75-inch but it wouldn’t fit in the back of the car.

Those happiest around here are the kids...each time I buy a new tv the older one trickles down to the kids, which means our 16 year old boy just got handed the three year old 50 from my bedroom. The 70 bumped the 60 to my room which left the 50 for him.

Haven’t seen him since. Jk, he comes out to eat, but he’s got gaming systems hooked up and it’s vacation.

Had a Bravia and while good, nothing beats an LG OLED in that price bracket IMO

Couldn't be happier with mine
