Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
imgur is much better than photobucket.
Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
Sounds like imgur is the way to go. Appreciate the input.

I'll take that same advice. I had typed up a long diatribe laced with profanity since Pb decided to change their TOS without actually informing their customers and giving us time to change links or upgrade and start paying for an account that would include 3rd party hosting. No, they went a different route. They just decided to replace all of my copyrighted photos that are linked with that obnoxious 100% meter garbage. So I'm done with them. Imgur it is.
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.
Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
I just signed up to imgur now I see you can start a album with public, hidden, secret so what one you hit so all imgur users can see your stuff but on forums they can if you post a photo. And how do you copy and paste a photo here with it ? Is it the same as screwed up photobucket posting a photo ?

Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
Save your pictures on imgur as hidden. If not people will be commenting on your photos since they are public on imgur. Then copy the BBCcode and post it on the forum. Easy

Does anyone use Google Photos? Do they have a limit on storage.

Just added a Google Photos account and trying to figure out if it's possible to post directly from Google Photos? Or is that what Tapacrap allows you to do?
I've never used either.

Google Docs, Sheets and Slides files do not count towards the storage limit. An unlimited amount of photos at maximum 16 megapixels and videos at maximum 1080p resolutions are stored for free using the "High quality" setting in Google Photos. Using the "Original quality" setting uses Google Drive quota.pbj204 wrote:Does anyone use Google Photos? Do they have a limit on storage.

Nope. Not at this time, I do not use google photos but was checking it out and you can not get a link that will embed with image tags nor is there an IMG share link. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
Can you guys see the above image?
I downloaded the google photos app. You can not share via the app to post on the forum. Grabbing the share link and putting in the img codes here on the forum does nothing. I have spend the past half hour looking online about this, and it turns out as of now you can not share from the google images app.
The way I put the photo above, was on my laptop, going to google photos on my chrome browser, click on the image and then right clicking on the image, and selecting "copy image address". Then I pasted the image address between the img codes here on the forum.
So, it can be done, and I imagine if you are using a chrome browser on a tablet or ipad or phone, you could do it as well, but you are doing it all through the browser, no apps.

Not sure what everybody else sees, but uploading pics from my phone via the Google Photos app is very simple.

Re: Image Hosting Website Recommendations?
EFF it. I deleted all the images on my pB account before I deleted the account.
Not getting blackmailed or letting them use my images.
Not when I was a paying user before and got shitty hosting services.
Speaking of which..is Wus down or is it just me..?
