Delivery Problems

Post by mattcantwin » Tue Jan 17, 2017 8:44 am

I got this email "from UPS" today, and one "from FedEx" a few days ago.

A file was attached that I did not open.

Dear Matt,

We can not deliver your parcel arrived at January 14.

Review the document that is attached to this e-mail!

Warm regards,
Ray Thompson,
USPS Parcels Delivery Manager.

If it has an attachment it wants you to run, it's more likely has viruses embedded in the document they want you to open. Phishing is where they try to get you to enter personal information or passwords into a fake site.

Slight disconnect when you have two emails allegedly from FedEx and UPS but signed by someone from USPS. Don't download nuttin.

Speaking of scam.....

Card now cancelled. 5-10 business days before I get a card delivered. And I have to call another number tomorrow to "dispute" the charges.
Thanks Obama.

I hate fraudulent charges, but I hate dealing with the fraud department equally as much. I had Bank of America basically call me a liar because the card was used in the same city I live in. Seriously why can't people just go and get a job!

Here's a new kind of hell / new to me. FedEx ground signature required. I can't redirect the package to a FedEx shop and I'm not home to sign so all I get are missed delivery slips. Have to ask the shipper to redirect the package to the FedEx shop.

Yep, they only give that option to the actually shipper. It has frustrated me more than once to say the least.

"My" fed-ex guy's son plays on the same soccer team as my youngest.....he calls/texts when I have a package (or I cal/text him as a heads up) so we can discuss "delivery options"
