I use imgur as well, but any photo host will do.toxicavenger wrote:I upload them to imgur and then post them.amckiwi wrote:I do not use tapatalk

FYI, uploading via Tapatalk stores the images on Tapatalk's image server, rather than DWC's. Attaching images directly to posts via the forum software stores the images on the DWC server, which is why the size is limited.
Re: Resizing iPhone pics to attach to posts
I use camera+ on my iPhone to make pictures. Then email it to myself and while you do that you are asked to select picture size. Medium size is around 100-150kb so I select this and then send the email. Then I open my email inbox, select the email with pic which downloads automatically then and follow this with saving image to phone. When posting a pic on he forum I select from the normal photo file and viola....
Sounds like a lot of work but it really is just seconds.... Hope this helps Stu.

I dislike using new apps etc, but use imgur specifically for DWC and it does everything instantly and was rather easy to learn to use.amckiwi wrote:I do not use tapatalk

Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

The simplest approach is probably to use Tapatalk and upload images using the app. It's particularly convenient if you shoot your watch photos using your cell phone, which many people do.amckiwi wrote:I was looking for the PHD approach as in press here dummy

Re: Resizing iPhone pics to attach to posts
Agreed. Even if you don't use it to read the boards, it's by far the easiest way to post pictures.

Downloaded tapatalk
Nothing easy or instinctive about it.
Might have a play round with it but first instinct was to delete.

for me, having 'new posts' as the main default tab makes everything easier to track
