I swear, tapatalk is the biggest piece of shit software I've used and we use a lot. It was only manageable when we had Ken helping answer questions. Aside from countless issues with it I am not able to login to the actual account for myself an can't get an email to reset the password - and of course their support on their website is non existent unless I'm missing something.

Any other good platforms out there other than Tapatalk or anyone know where to actually get support?

Same issue here, but only for Photobucket links.

The software does blow. I've thought about writing my own mobile client, but it would be a lot of work and I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

The old tapatalk pro version shows everything and a far less buggy than the new POS everyone uses.

The new navigating format is such a headache.

Almost worth it to jailbreak just to get that back if you don't have it.

Looks the same as PC, why get used to a new format and the screens are big enough. I'm lazy

I have the beta on iPhone and it works pretty well, actually. They're very responsive to feedback as well.

I agree- the new Tapatalk is garbage. This is why I use the old version i thankfully kept.

The only thing I have to use the new version for is to post pics as it will not allow me to on the old version.

I bring it up every time there's a Tapatalk thread just because. I haven't updated this shit in over a year and something; I always lose count and I don't plan on ever doing it.

Tapatalk Pro worked and if it works I don't fucks with it

Glad to hear I'm not in the minority here. The mere fact that many of us have two different apps with the same name just to use the damn thing is a major problem.

I haven't used a beta or multiple versions ever since I left the company. I've been using normal releases off the Google Play app store like a regular user, and surprisingly, the app has been pretty drama free for me. Of course I turn off all the crap I objected adding to the app in the first place when I was there (or as much of it as I can). Still, I'm surprised I haven't personally experienced the app's complete meltdown given the direction the team voted toward.
I think external image hosts are a continuing issue for them. If an image host changes something, the app needs to be patched and updated, or else shit breaks, and to the user it will look to be the app at fault. I guess this is probably why they want ppl to use the Tapatalk built in image upload feature over things like photobucket and the like.

This. I have an iPhone 6s and am on the latest version and no issues. I have had glitches from time to time just like any app but no real problems.

Old version of Tapacrap 5.4.8 is what I'm using on my Android and it works fine. No issues, but I haven't upgraded for over a year.
