Encrypted thumb drive

Post by Captdave » Tue Jun 14, 2016 9:42 am

I'm looking for an encrypted thumb drive to put my professional credentials, certificates and records on as well as my medical certifications and records. I will be carrying it with me daily and using it on various computers, some with questionable security to say the least. You can see why I want it encrypted. I just don't know which thumb drive is really secure or what I need to look for in one. There are so many choices and I would appreciate any advice you would be willing to give. Thanks.

I had a SanDisc one that had encryption software preloaded. I'm certainly no expert though.

I have been doing this on personal drives (hard drives, thumb drives) for years when I was traveling overseas. Just extra security and super easy to set up.
