Instagram Hashtag Problem - Anyone Else?
Back in the good ol' days....2 days ago....when I wanted to tag #thedivewatchconnection (or any tag) I would type #t and I was shown a list of my recent tags that began with "t" so I would have to type out the whole tag.
Each 1st letter would bring up my recent tags using that letter - made life easy.
Now all of that is gone. Now, when I type # + 1st letter it doesn't give me my list of tags with that letter it just brings up a monster list in random order of all my recent tags. I have to scroll the entire list to find anything I may want to use.
Basically, no more organized # by 1st letter, now it is an unorganized cluster. And it sucks
Any fix?

Did the app update itself recently?

Yes sir.
#updatesucks
Is there a way to roll it back?

Not that I am aware of. It will relearn your hashtags eventually, but I think you are stuck for now.

If you type just # there will be a list of your hashtags.

Correct, but the list is all of the #...it used to be if I typed the 1st letter it would bring up only those starting with that letter...now it's just the list in its entirety.Heuerville wrote:If you type just # there will be a list of your hashtags.
I prefer it segmented by 1st letter for easier tagging

Must be a bug in the iOS version. I'm on the latest Android version and it is working fine.

Just type your hashtag list in notes or email and copy/paste them each time

Great idea. Can you type them into an excel spreadsheet in order to track hashtag usage?

Re: Instagram Hashtag Problem - Anyone Else?
that works for generic # but then I'd have to have separate lists if I include model name or model numbers...all iknow is IG made it harder and more a pain for me to use. not a good business model.lilhoody wrote:Jeep99dad wrote:Just type your hashtag list in notes or email and copy/paste them each time

Re: Instagram Hashtag Problem - Anyone Else?
I found this helpful. I now have a shortcut called "watchphotos" for Instagram.

That's a good idea. I actually have the laundry list in notes and have been copy/pasting it in. Just changed all of that to be hsht as a shortcut.
