stinking chromebook

After a few weeks of being really impressed, I'm now really pissed off. An hour ago, it was working as normal, now, it won't let me connect to any of the websites I normally use except DWC. Connectivity is fine and the bloody help pages on google are jargon-full shit I can't understand. The only other site I can access is youtube, so keep a look out for a video of a chromebook being smashed with a hammer.

Anyone here with any ideas?

Just had to reset the whole thing

For chrome itself at least, when shit goes wrong I usually pull up settings -> advanced settings -> privacy and clear all the cache and/or reset the browser and log back into my google account. Not sure about Chrome OS but it might help.

Something called a "powerwash" that re-sets to factory default settings. Lost everything I'd saved in the cloud, but that was only a few pics using an app I was experimenting with. Not quite sure what it was all about, but there were / are lots of questions on the web about this very thing

I'm really impatient when it comes to tech' problems, and although it got sorted, I do wonder whether it was something I did without realising it. I know so little about ict, that when I call our tech helpline at work, I can't answer any of their questions and always have to hand over remote control

Having ranted, though, I still prefer my chromebook to an actual computer or ipad.

Yeah, I did that, but had to "powerwash" in the end.
